The idea for Fathers® was born in the summer of 2021. Luigi Generali and Matteo Franchina, two friends with a passion for watches, decided to create a brand that represents the values that are most important to them: family, Italian craftsmanship, quality materials, and the intrinsic beauty that evokes an object of value.
The Fathers® man lives in the present and dreams of the future without ever forgetting his past. While the world becomes a microchip and our memories are fueled by lithium batteries, watches become the symbol of a bygone, romantic era, where mechanics acquire a symbolic value, representing the pinnacle of human existence, ingenuity, and knowledge.

The encounter between
the two founding partners
The passion for watches has accompanied Luigi since childhood, when his father gave him his first watch at the age of 8.
From that day on, every day, Luigi has worn a watch and has turned his passion into a collection.Luigi's consulting activity, serving Companies, Entrepreneurs, and Start-Ups, leads him to meet Matteo, who after years of work in various companies, decides to embark on an innovative project, and thanks to the work done together, they become friends and begin to share the idea of wanting to create something concrete based on their common passions.
So begins the planning, different phases of Search and Developmentwhich occupies them for an entire year. Drawings, prototypes, restarts. Everything to obtain a product that was different from those on the market, artisanal in certain respects, exclusive for personal value.
Why "Fathers",
the first collection
Inspired by the scene of his father holding his son in his arms, Luigi begins to think about wanting to create something that will endure over time, something that can last forever, with the desire that that very special moment between his father and his son would never end.
After a quick phone-call to Matteo, they decide to start thinking about their first watch, which would be a diver and would be called Horizon, like the one that you can enjoy at the seaside on summer days. In addition to their deep and honest friendship, they understand that they are also ofnited by their boundless love for their children. So they decide that "Fathers" would become the name of their brand. Today Fathers® is an italian company that produces watches in Switzerland ofhigh quality, unique pieces with an original and refined design in each component.
The brand
Even in the logo, the original meaning and the initial idea with which the brand was born, before being a watch brand, wanted to be represented. In fact, the Fathers® pictogram, the central H of the logo, synthesizes outstretched arms, one hand in another hand, a childish game with daddy's feet.
Fathers® is connection, an embrace, it is the indestructible chain of love between father and son, grandfather and grandson, mentor and pupil, between ourselves and the person to whom we are closely bound.
