The Story of Fathers®
The idea for Fathers® was born in the summer of 2021. Luigi Generali and Matteo Franchina , two friends with a passion for watches, decided to create a brand that represents the values that are closest to their hearts: family, Italian craftsmanship, the quality of materials and the intrinsic beauty that an object of value evokes .
The Fathers® man lives in the present and dreams of the future without ever forgetting his past. While the world becomes a microchip and our memories are powered by lithium batteries, watches become the symbol of a bygone, romantic era, in which mechanics acquire a symbolic value as the pinnacle of human existence, ingenuity and knowledge.
The meeting between
the two founding members
Luigi's passion for watches began as a child, when his father gave him his first watch at the age of 8. As he grew older, he transformed this passion into a collection.
In his work as a consultant, Luigi met Matteo, with whom he shared the idea of creating something connected to their passions. After a year of research, development, and prototyping, they created a unique, handcrafted, and exclusive product .
Why "Fathers"
The first collection
Watching his father with his son in his arms, Luigi felt the urge to create something that would last forever. After a call to Matteo, they decided to design their first watch, a Diver called Horizon, inspired by the sea's horizon.
United by a sincere friendship and love for their children, they chose the name Fathers® for their brand. Today, Fathers® is an Italian company that produces high-quality, unique, and sophisticated watches in Switzerland.
THE BRAND

The logo, too, was designed to represent the original meaning and initial idea behind the brand, before it became a watch brand. Indeed, the Fathers® pictogram, the central H of the logo, symbolizes outstretched arms, a hand in another, a childish game with dad's feet.
Fathers® is connection, an embrace, it is the unbreakable chain of love between father and son, grandfather and grandson, mentor and student, between ourselves and the person to whom we are closely linked.
